Our Story: A Revolution Born from Purpose and Dedication

Like many great ideas, ours started with a conversation. But unlike most businesses, it was built entirely over long-distance phone calls, driven by a shared dream to bring an organic revolution to home gardening.

The Spark of Change

The root of this journey goes back to the COVID-19 pandemic. After eight long years of continuous corporate work right after college, the lockdown allowed me to spend extended, uninterrupted time with my family.

That time became a major turning point. Emerging from a global health crisis, our perspective completely shifted. It forced us to rethink the future and the heavy sacrifices people make—trading precious time with loved ones just to earn a living. Witnessing that crisis firsthand made us deeply committed to choosing an organic path, recognizing the urgent need to nurture human well-being and protect our Mother Earth.

Driven by this new purpose, I spent the next few years searching for a way to build a sustainable future. I tried countless different business ideas, but one after the other, they failed miserably—most never even managing to cross the very first step. But each failure was simply preparation for the right idea.

A Shared Trial

These ideas for a sustainable future continued well after our marriage in 2023. Even as career and regional circumstances required me to work a demanding corporate role in Hosur while my wife lived in Gobichettipalayam, the dream never paused. Navigating the distance, our daily late-night phone calls became our sanctuary. I began discussing these business ideas directly with my wife, and together we poured all our energy into brainstorming, refusing to give up on building a meaningful legacy for our family and our newborn son, Viyogan.

The ultimate breakthrough came on June 10, 2025. During our usual night call, I casually mentioned the science and potential of vermi compost. The very next morning, my wife turned talk into action. Showing incredible initiative, she quietly sourced a few kilograms of cow dung from a local milkman to run a trial.

Recognizing her spark, we decided to scale up. We prepared a proper 500kg bed using our family's own Desi cows. Then came the real test: finding the earthworms. She put in relentless hard work tracking them down, set the bed, and nurtured it until we harvested our very first batch of rich, premium vermicompost.

But production was only half the battle. To see if we truly had a viable business, I threw down a challenge: "If we are going to do this, everything has to be sold by you."

She took the challenge head-on. Operating completely on her own on the ground, she sold every single kilogram of that first batch in less than a month.

The Birth of Viyogan Organics

Seeing the incredible success of that 500kg trial changed everything. It was the moment we knew this was no longer just an experiment—it was our future. Right then, we formally established our core corporate mission and strategic vision.

Through those late-night phone calls, the trials, and the triumphs, we fell in love along with plants and planet. Because our son was the true heartbeat of our journey through those pivotal times, it was only natural that we named our legacy after him. Viyogan Organics became our family's ultimate labor of love.

Today, that backyard trial has evolved into a structured corporate mission, beautifully blending fourteen years of industrial corporate framework with flawless on-the-ground execution.

As the Chairman of the company, Shree Keerthana stands as the true hero of our story, managing all production, operations, and raw execution on the ground in Gobichettipalayam. Working alongside her from Hosur, Senthil Kumar serves as the Managing Director, channeling years of corporate planning and engineering frameworks to drive our strategic growth and long-term vision across the miles.
